These Aspects might also appear as random drops from the defeated enemies – treasures waiting to be harnessed by worthy adventurers. Moreover, upgraded versions of these Aspects can be found tied to other in-game items, adding another layer of intrigue to the overall gameplay.

Different Types of Aspects

Broadly, Aspects in Diablo 4 can be categorized into three types: Codex Aspects, Legendary Aspects, and Extracted Aspects.

Codex Aspects offer an interesting feature – they can be imprinted on weapons, armor, and jewelry multiple times as needed. It involves the use of Gold and Veiled Crystals, which can be obtained by salvaging rare or legendary items at a Blacksmith. However, Codex Aspects always roll their effects as low as possible when imprinted, hence extracted Aspects might deliver stronger results.
