Hunt Showdown is a game that has a lot of unique weapons and ammo that you can use. Some weapons allow you to enter the match using two different ammo types that you can swap. For example, with a hand crossbow, you can use a normal arrow or a poison arrow that you can swap while in the match. To swap between ammo types in Hunt Showdown, you have to press X on the keyboard or UP on the D-pad if you are playing with a controller.
How to Switch Ammo in the Hunt Showdown
To change the ammo type in Hunt Showdown, you have to press X on the keyboard or UP on the D-pad. If that does not work, then it means that your keybinds have been changed. To fix that, all you have to do is go to settings, then Key Customization, and there you will see the Toggle Weapon Modes option. There, you can set any key bind that you want to swap ammo types.
How To Get Different Ammo Types
Depending on the weapon, it can have two or five different ammo types. Each one of these types is unique and will do different things. To get ammo types, you have to level up your weapon and loot other players’ weapons. If you are lucky, find a box on caravans that will allow you to change the ammo type.
How To Change Ammo Type in Shooting Range
Unfortunately, you can not change the ammo type in Shooting Range. To get the desired ammo type, you have to unlock it and equip your hunter with it before you enter the shooting range. When you enter the shooting range, you will spawn with your weapons and ammo type.
