What Are The Best Chestplate Enchantments In Minecraft

Curse of Vanishing

The maximum level of Curse of Vanishing enchantment is I. It’s not very good, as it causes your boots to disappear when you die. It’s good for trolling if you want to snatch your friend’s boots and put this enchantment on!

Curse of Binding

The maximum level for Curse of Binding enchantment is I. This enchantment makes it unable for you to remove your cursed boots from your inventory. You can get rid of them by dying. It’s a pretty useless enchantment and it will just take slots in your item stash.

Soul Speed

Max level for this enchantment is III. Soul Speed enchantment lets you move faster on soul sand and soul soil. It’s useful in places like the Nether, although it’s rare to stumble upon landscapes that are primarily made from these two previously mentioned blocks. The enchantment is very situational and not really worth getting, IMO.

Thorns

Max level for this enchantment is III. Thorns causes hostile mobs to take damage when they attack you. This enchantment can be useful when you’re overwhelmed or you want to squeeze in extra damage against mobs. It’s not great, but it is a fun mechanic.

Frost Walker

The maximum level for this enchantment is II. If you wear boots with Frost Walker enchantment on, it’ll be possible for you to turn water into ice blocks, basically allowing you to walk on water. A unique enchantment, although you could just use a boat to travel faster :P!

Blast Protection

The max level for this enchantment is IV. Blast Protection can be effective against Withers, Creepers, TNT charges, etc. It works fairly well at preventing ambushes as well. In rare circumstances, this enchantment can save your life.

Projectile Protection

Max level enchantment: IV. Projectile Protection enchantment put on your boots will allow you to take less damage from arrows, blaze fireballs, and even llama spit. There are plenty of hostile mobs who like to shoot stuff at you, so this enchantment can limit the amount of damage that you take. Good stuff!

Fire Protection

Max level for this enchantment: IV. The goal of Fire Protection enchantment is to reduce the amount of damage you take from lava and fire. With this enchantment on your boots and other pieces of armor, you will be pretty much immune to lava, allowing you to swim in it. Very useful in locations like the Nether!

Mending

The max level for this enchantment is I. Every time you collect experience orbs, your boots will be gradually repaired. Keep in mind that Mending will reduce the speed at which you’re hitting levels!

Protection

The maximum level for this enchantment is IV. This enchantment provides protection against all types of attacks – projectiles, attacks, fall damage, fire damage, etc. It’s probably the best defensive enchantment to get on your boots or any other type of armor.

Feather Falling

Feather Falling Enchantments For Boots

The maximum level for this enchantment is IV. One important thing to note – Feather Falling enchantment won’t affect your falling speed. It will only reduce the amount of damage that you’ll take. The purpose of this enchantment is to protect you from fall damage, which would normally kill you. Proved to be useful many times in my case…

Unbreaking

The maximum level of this enchantment is III. Unbreaking extends the durability of your boots by 100% per level. It also reduces the need for constant repair.

Depth Strider

Depth Strider

The maximum level for this enchantment is III. If you enjoy swimming extremely fast underwater, Depth Strider is probably one of the most useful enchantments for your boots. This enchantment is excellent for exploring sunken ships, ruins, or ocean monuments. They’re great for treasure hunting, but they’re also useful for escaping dangerous situations.
