How to Prepare a Cake:
Pick Your Flavor: It doesn’t matter what kind of cake you bake; any will do the job. If you want to get a cake ready fast, having your Sim learn to bake is a good idea. They can hit the books or take a class to get better at it.
Steps to Initiate Toddler Transformation:
- Bake & Place: After baking, put the cake on a kitchen counter or table.
- Candle Charm: Click on the cake and choose “Add Candles,” then pick “Birthday Candles” to give the cake its special power.
- Magic Moment: There are a few ways to start the aging up process. You can select “Help Blow Out Candles” with the toddler’s name, pick “Make A Wish” or “Taste Frosting,” or have the toddler get help from an adult by choosing “Candles Help” and the adult’s name. An older Sim will help the toddler blow out the candles, and a message will pop up saying your toddler is now a child.
The Cheating Way: Using Game Cheats
For those who like a shortcut, cheats can age up your toddler in no time.
Cheat Command Central:
- Access & Activate: Hit “Ctrl + Shift + C” (or the equivalent on your device) to bring up the command console. Type in “testingcheats true” to enable cheats.
- CAS Transition: After enabling cheats, type “cas.fulleditmode.” Then, Shift-click your toddler and choose “Modify in CAS.” Here, you can change their age to “child.” Set an aspiration for your newly aged-up child while you’re at it. This cheat isn’t just for toddlers; you can use it for Sims of any age.
Skill Levels and Reward Traits
Toddler skills aren’t just for show; they’re crucial for what kind of traits your Sim will have as they grow. Skills like Imagination, Movement, Communication, Potty, and Thinking determine the rewards your Sim gets when they age up.
