Cold ocean biomes are quite interesting despite underwater areas usually having a bit less going on at once. The places like this can be a great shift from the standard biomes and doubly so when coupled with interesting finds. Deep cold ocean seed
This seed provides a huge deep ocean to explore. While a regular large cold ocean is fun to explore, having extra depth is fun, getting deep exploration with unique blocks spawning. We can find many exposed ores below to dig into and farm.
This does come at the cost of vegetation and wildlife, as deep oceans in Minecraft, especially cold ones, are quite barren. Thankfully, this seed offers both regular depth and a deep cold ocean. With that in mind, you can also find a Ruined Portal below the Ocean Monument that you can find in the deep cold ocean.
Lastly, the nearby location will have icebergs with polar bears. Locate a frozen ocean biome and look for the tall patches of ice to find the icebergs. They are hard to miss. Cold and Frozen ocean seed
This ocean biome is a bit smaller in terms of ocean coverage. However, it still contains a cold and frozen ocean within the area with icebergs to boot. That means the standard farming experience you’d have with either is still present.
As far as notable locations go, the pillager outpost has to be the biggest one. This location is found further East. Once you get there, it’s possible to find an Iron Golem. This Iron Golem can be found in the wooden cage within the outpost itself. Making for a great location to get some aid in the seed, as Iron Golems are friendly to the player.

Swamp past the cold ocean
This seed spawns us into the forest biome filled with sheep and chickens. Perfect for an early stack of food for our exploration. Additionally, the items we get from them can help with other crafting endeavors. With all the preparations done, it’s time to dive into the cold ocean.
Going to the South, we can find a pool of lava. This is a dangerous location but also allows us to find materials that generate close to the lava. Should you choose to use the location for other purposes, the nearby forest biome should serve you well.
In the East, we can find cold and deep frozen ocean biomes with icebergs sprouting up. That’s not the only two biomes of importance, though. Continuing past them, we’ll find a swamp biome with thick vegetation. The swamps are exceptionally nice for temporary bases due to the overall thickness of the canopy. Making them much easier to turn into safe houses. Depending on our luck, this swamp could also be a good source of certain rarer materials.
