In Battlefield 2042, choosing the best gun can make or break your game. There’s a ton of weapons, and knowing which one works best in what situation is key. We’re gonna take a look at the top guns for each category so you can own the battlefield.
PP-29
The PP-29 is top-notch among submachine guns. It’s got solid firepower of 25 and accuracy of 42, making it deadly up close. With a range of 37 and handling of 59, it’s easy to move around and keep shooting. Its 700 RPM and a magazine that holds 65 bullets means you’re ready for anything.
Attachments to Maximize Performance
Throw on the Standard Dot site and thermal to see better. The ramp suppressor keeps you quiet, and the champion muzzle break helps with stability. The standard issue mag works fine, but you can switch to subsonic or high-powered for different fights.
GEW-46
The GEW-46 is all about versatility, sitting somewhere between SMGs and assault rifles. It’s got you covered, from close fights to mid-range shots.
Attachments to Maximize Performance:
Use the Standard Dot and thermal sites to spot enemies better. The Tactical compensator extends your reach, and the RRA suppressor keeps you sneaky. The laser site helps with recoil and quick shots. And don’t forget about an extended mag with subsonic for longer battles.
ACW-R
The ACW-R is the big deal among assault rifles, perfect for those mid to long battles. In the right hands, it’s unstoppable.
Attachments to Maximize Performance:
The Standard Dot and thermal sites are great for distance. The R suppressor and default muzzle keep your shots on point and kick low. The laser site is great for those surprise moments. Finish it with the standard issue extended mag to keep the bullets coming.
M5
The M5 might be the first rifle you get, but it’s no lightweight. It’s well-rounded and fits any fight.
Attachments to Maximize Performance:
The Fusion Holo sight gives you a clear shot. The close combat short barrel and SNR laser make you quick and accurate. An extended mag keeps you shooting, and the 2.5 thermal helps with long shots. For less recoil, go with the Cobra grip or the lwg grip.
VHX D3
Fresh outta Season 6, the VHX D3’s already making a splash. It’s fast-firing with hardly any kickback, making it perfect for those who like to press the attack.
Attachments to Maximize Performance:
The Fusion Holo sight’s great for clear shots, and an extended mag means less reloading. BCG light grip keeps your aim tight. If recoil bugs you, maybe skip the Tactical compensator, but it does add a nice touch for others.
LCMG
When it feels like everything’s hitting the fan, especially in Breakthrough chaos or rush XL, the LCMG’s a lifesaver. Designed for laying down a ton of fire and keeping the enemy heads down.
Attachments to Maximize Performance:
Standard Dot and thermal sights help you see more of the battlefield. A short-term barrel cranks up the fire rate, and the R suppressor keeps you somewhat stealthy. Lwg grip for steadier aim, and don’t forget about mixing in close combat and high-power options for that extra edge.
M39 EMR
In the DMR lineup, the M39 EMR’s a standout. Hits hard with insane accuracy, making it a sniper’s go-to for mid to long shots. Quick target switching is a breeze with its stats.
Attachments to Maximize Performance:
For sights, you’re looking at the Standard dot, 3x scope, and 2.5 thermal as top choices. The tactical compensator and WRA suppressor keep it deadly and quiet. Laser sight for those oh-crap moments and an extended mag means you’re ready for anything.
12M Auto
This full-auto shotgun’s all about getting up close and personal. Precision takes a backseat to just unleashing hell.
Attachments to Maximize Performance:
Sight-wise, go with whatever, but you’ll likely be hip-firing this monster. Drum mag, extended barrels, and slug shells keep the firepower coming. Mgl laser sight and a shortened barrel make it even nastier in close quarters.
BSVM
A marksman’s dream, the BSVM can switch to full-auto to handle a variety of distances.
Attachments to Maximize Performance
K Hollow sight and high-power extended mag turn it into a powerhouse. BCG light grip cuts down on bullet spread. Depending on your target, the SH and extended barrel, along with high-power rounds, can make a huge difference. For those really long-distance shots, a specialized scope’s what you need.
