Best Gepard Builds

Gepard is a strong 5-star ice character in Honkai Star Rail. Gepard has a lot of different builds, but most players are building him as a tank, while some players are building him as a support. He has the Preservation Path, which allows him to tank some serious damage.

His main role is tanking the damage, but he will also provide a shield for the whole team, which is great. He does not deal with a lot of damage, so it is recommended to pair him with characters that are dealing a lot of nukes and AOE damage. Gepard is an A-tier character in Honkai Star Rail.

Best Gepard Light Cone

Moment of Victory

Increases the wearer’s DEF by 24/30/36/42/48% and Effect Hit Rate by 20/25/30/35/40%. Increases the chance for the wearer to be attacked by enemies. When the wearer is attacked, increase their DEF by an additional 24/30/36/42/48% until the end of the wearer’s turn.

Landau’s Choice

The wearer is more likely to be attacked, but DMG taken is reduced by 16/18/20/22/24%.

Amber

Increases the wearer’s DEF by 16/20/24/28/32%. If the wearer’s current HP is less than 50% of their Max HP, increases their DEF by a further 16/20/24/28/32%.

Best Gepard Relics

Knight of Purity Palace

(2) Increases DEF by 12%.
(4) Increases the max DMG that can be absorbed by the shield created by the wearer by 20%.

Belobog of the Architects

(2) Increases the wearer’s DEF by 15%. When the wearer’s Effect Hit Rate is 50% or higher, the wearer gains an extra 15% DEF.

Deal 50% of Gepard’s ATK as Ice DMG to a target enemy.

Intimidating Strike: Skill

Impair
Deal 75% of Gepard’s ATK as Ice DMG to a target enemy. There is a 65% base chance to inflict Freeze for 1 turn(s). While Frozen, enemies cannot move and will take 25% of Gepard’s ATK as Ice DMG each turn.

User Banned: Ultimate

Eternal Barrier
Apply a shield to all allies, absorbing DMG equal to 36% of Gepard’s DEF +90 for 3 turn(s).

Unyielding Will: Talent

Passive
When struck with a killing blow, instead of becoming incapacitated, immediately heal for 25% of Max HP. This effect can only trigger once per battle.

Force Quit Program: Technique

Comradery
For the next battle after using a Technique, increase DEF of all allies by 25% of Gepard’s DEF for 2 turn(s).

Level 1: Due Diligence

Basic ATK has a 75% base chance to Taunt the target for 1 turn(s).

Level 2: Lingering Cold

After an enemy Frozen by Gepard’s Skill is unfrozen. their SPD is reduced by 25% for 1 turn(s).

Level 3: Never Surrender

Ultimate Lv. +3, up to a maximum of Lv. 15. Basic ATK Lv. +1, up to a maximum of Lv. 10.

Level 4: Faith Moves Mountains

When Gepard is in battle, all allies’Effect RES increases by 20%.

Level 5: Cold Iron Fist

Skill Lv. +3, up to a maximum of Lv. 15. Basic ATK Lv. +1. up to a maximum of Lv. 10.

Level 6: Unyielding Determination

When his Talent is triggered. Gepard’s action is Advanced Forward by 100%, and his HP restoration is additionally increased by 50% of his Max HP.
