In order for you to be able to enhance your gear in AFK Arena, the first thing that you need to do is to go to the tab that is titled “heroes tab,” which is located at the bottom of the menu of the game. Here, you will have to choose which hero and which specific piece of equipment you want to enhance. When you have done that, simply click the enhance button and choose the tokens or gear that you wish to sacrifice in order to enhance your gear. Then, click on confirm. It is that easy!
How can you enhance your gear?
It would be best if you remembered that in this game, only the extremely rare-rarity gear could potentially be enhanced. If your gear is of any tier lower than this, you cannot enhance it (for example, gear of the common tier or regular tier rarity).
You can recognize the gear because the rare gear background is denoted by blue color, compared to the green common gear background and the gray regular tier background. Elite has a purple background, legendary has an orange background, and mythic has a red background. So the following colors (red, orange, blue, purple) can be enhanced.
You have to remember to make sure that the heroes are wearing the gear before attempting to enhance it; otherwise it will not work. This can be done by going to the heroes tab which is at the bottom menu, and choose a hero and also select the gear that you want to use. Press “equip gear” which you will be able to see.
This button will automatically dress the hero that you have chosen in the best gear that you have available.
So, to enhance it, you will have to choose the hero and ensure that they are wearing the equipment that you need. Then if you open up the pop-up window you will see the option that says “enhance.”
The hero page is what we call the page where you can see everything about your hero, from equipment to everything else. You have to spend enhancement tokens in order to be able to enhance your equipment. If you do this the enhancement points will be added to your gears.
Once you are done and satisfied with your equipment, then you just have to press confirm and you are done!
One thing that you need to remember is that you should prioritize gear of your carry heroes before any other heroes so that it will benefit your battles more.
You then should move on and start enhancing your tanks and supporting heroes.
