Viking Rise Migration Guide

In the engaging world of base-building war games, one intriguing feature that players frequently encounter is the relocation option. This Viking Rise migration guide is designed to give you a comprehensive overview of this process.

The migration feature is a strategic game mechanic that allows new players to relocate their base to a random spot within a warring kingdom. Although it has certain limitations and requirements, it can bring players a distinct advantage when used wisely.

Viking Rise Migration

When you’re a new player in Viking Rise, you’ll soon come across a unique item called the Newbie Migrator. This special tool kick-starts the migration process, letting you relocate within the outermost circle of any warring kingdom.

What’s more, it gives you the flexibility to choose the most strategic location to position your base. However, keep in mind that this item has an expiry date—it’s either valid for two days or will be removed once your Chief Hall hits level six.

In previous iterations, some players exploited the migration feature, endlessly collecting resources before jumping ship to a new server, thus gaining an unfair advantage. In Viking Rise, though, this loophole has been addressed. While you can’t accumulate infinite resources anymore, using the migration feature judiciously can still offer a partial upper hand in the game.

Conditions and Limitations for Migration

Migration in Viking Rise is like a double-edged sword; it comes with both opportunities and constraints. It’s important to understand that this feature is accessible only to fresh accounts. If you have an existing account, unfortunately, migration isn’t possible.

A few other limitations come into play here. For instance, your Chief Hall level significantly affects your ability to migrate. If your Chief Hall level exceeds five, the migration feature gets locked out. Furthermore, your allegiance to a tribe or guild can restrict your ability to migrate.

Even the server capacity plays a role in your migration plans. Each server has a set limit on the number of characters it can accommodate. Once it hits its peak, you’ll have to look elsewhere to relocate.

Finally, bear in mind that if your troops are out on a mission or if your city is engaged in a battle, migration is off the table. So, planning is key when it comes to choosing the perfect time for migration.

Requirements for Migration

Before you embark on your Viking Rise migration journey, there’s a checklist of requirements you need to tick off.

  • Chief Hall does not exceed Level 5
  • The target Kingdom is a “Warring Kingdom”
  • Not currently a member of any Tribe
  • No queues are currently deployed
  • Your City is currently not in combat
  • The target Kingdom has not reached the maximum capacity of characters
