The jungle biome is a rich one with resources and style. There’s quite a bit to take in. from different, intricate trees to unique wildlife. That makes it a great spot for making a house in. However, it can be hard to pick what to go for. There are high locations and mountains to enter, water surfaces to use for irrigation, and a ton of different blocks to build with. So let’s go over jungle house designs in Minecraft.
Survival Jungle House

In survival mode, we either need restraint in design or time investment to truly make something special. That’s why many survival mode houses can look rather simple in general. Of course, the jungle biome offers a whole slew of blocks to create our home out of.
We recommend centering the house next to a decent location. Either with nearby hills or some form of water surface. Lakes will usually be our key target as access to larger pools of water can prove quite useful. We can find many resources within, so following through is advised.
The actual construction of the house will often use trees primarily. This is due to jungle trees looking nice as building materials and the extra items that we can craft with them. Mixing tree patterns is also nice, and lighter colors can make the house stand out.
Of course, the decorations are plentiful. Bamboo or sugar cane can provide the perfect coverage for otherwise bare earth if you build near a lake. These two can also be quite useful crafting materials. You can even trim the bamboo trees without outright destroying them, leading to them pulling a double duty easily.

Jungle base
The tall and bushy trees of the jungles make them perfect for hiding. However, the extra coverage can be used by those willing to expand their operations underground and in the jungle. With a jungle base house, you can do both.
The jungle base is far simpler than our previous example. It includes a cave or a decently dug-up mountain, which we can use to set ourselves up. There will be little building unless you want to add even more obscurement to the base. Planting down more trees and grass can help, but a wall of bamboo that leads into the base’s entrance is also a possible answer.
The inside of the base is where decorating comes into play. You’ll be crafting quite a few torches, furniture, and floors to replace the empty cave interior. Of course, the more layers your home has, the more elaborate this gets. It’s possible to go wide and deep with this option. Providing some extra mining locations.

Jungle treehouse

The name says it all. What better place to be high up than the jungle? We get to observe from up high, free from the massive canopies. Planning our next expedition while having one of the safest locations to call home. Visibility is key here, offering us a great way to orient ourselves.
This type of house will require a rather tall tree, although you can always try and expand from lower trees. Once an appropriate location has been found, we can get to the building. Nothing special is required for a treehouse. Some blocks and doors will do quite enough. However, we can further expand our living space.
You can connect multiple trees with bridges and ladders to create a sprawling tree household. This expansion can help if you lack space for gear and items or just want to lay down some extra floors. After all, creative pursuits are the reason we make our homes so elaborate.
