Minecraft Piglin Brute Guide, Attacks and Drops

Minecraft Piglin Brute Guide

Some Minecraft enemies are there to make our life difficult. Especially those that have potent defensive and offensive skills. These mobs will often occur across the world, different in nature and statistics but powerful regardless. Piglin Brute is yet another such enemy, swinging its powerful axe to cut the enemy down. Let’s go over Minecraft Piglin Brute and how to beat it.

Piglin

in Minecraft, Piglin are pig-like humanoids that live in the Nether. They are very simple and dressed in a simple set of clothes. Piglins will be aggressive toward the player who has no golden armor. Wearing any piece of golden armor could lead to bartering with Piglins.

However, this rule only applies to regular Piglins. They are usually hostile, equipped with swords or crossbows, and can spawn as babies. All of these details combined make Piglins interesting to fight against. However, the Piglin Brute is special.

Piglin Brute

The brutes are far tougher variants of Minecraft Piglins, which can appear in all types of bastion remnants but won’t occur in more regular locations. The Piglin Brute doesn’t barter, get distracted by gold, or retreat. It will try to take down the player with its golden axe no matter what.

Piglin Brutes don no armor. Neither spawning with it nor equipping it when found. They are completely unarmored, but their 50 health of life gives them enough durability. With their tendency to come into melee and swing for hefty damage, Piglin Brutes can become a nightmare.

Piglin Brute Behavior

These mobs are incredibly hostile. Not only to players but some other mobs too. Piglin Brutes will attack Wither Skeletons and Withers as soon as they spot them. If other mobs attack any of the Piglins, the Piglin Brute will turn hostile toward them.

Piglin Brutes can call on nearby Piglins to help them when attacked. Which will cause a highly dangerous situation for us. Piglin Brutes can also pick up golden axes they walk over on the floor.

Piglin Brute Attacks

A Piglin Brute’s attacks are very simple. Swinging with its axe for a significant amount of damage. Even an unarmed Piglin Brute can deal ok damage but not as considerable as the axe. The golden axe is far more powerful than one player would have. In fact, Piglin Brute ranks high in terms of damage.

When it comes to melee damage, Piglin Brutes match some of the highest-damage dealers in the game. The only two mobs that can surpass it are Iron Golems and Wardens. With Illager Vindicators matching this damage of Piglin Brutes.

Piglin Brute Drops

When it comes to drop rates, we haven’t much to find on Piglin Brutes in Minecraft. The players have an 8.5% chance to drop their golden axe. This axe will differ in durability as the one it drops with is completely random. Looting enhancement will increase the chance of this drop by 1% per level. Maxing out at 11.5%.
