Muscle Cookie is another one of those frequently used cookies in the game due to him being easy to obtain and his potential as a Front (tank) fighter. Just like GingerBrave, Muscle Cookie is one of the fan-favorite cookies in Cookie Run Kingdom, not just because his look is the embodiment of physical power, but he is also a very good and useful cookie to run in your cookie squad.
The first thing that you need to acknowledge is that Muscle Cookie is a Charge type and his position is prioritized to the Front. To simplify the meaning of it, he will essentially act as a tank of your squad, but he is also a very good damage dealer with the right toppings and his +% damage scaling with each level up. Given that Muscle Cookie is a common cookie, he is a very good frontline to use until you get higher rarity/stronger cookies.
Muscle Cookie Topping
X5 Solid Almond Topping- Solid Almond: “A solid almond-like one can increase the Cookie’s DMG Resist.”
+DMG resistance- Full Solid Almond equip bonus: +5% DMG Resist
This would be a “pure tank” type of build with which he will be able to take more damage but he would also do less damage per skill active/basic att.
X5 Searing Raspberry Topping- Searing Raspberry: “A searing berry like this one can increase the Cookie’s ATK.”
+ATK damage- Full Searing Raspberry equip bonus: +5% ATK
This build will turn your Muscle Cookie into a mini glass cannon since he has good damage potential from his skill and bonus amplifiers from each level up. Note that cookies like GingerBrave will perform better with this topping build than Muscle Cookie.
X3 Searing Raspberry: “A searing berry like this one can increase the Cookie’s ATK.”
X2 Bouncy Caramel Toppin: “This bouncy caramel can increase the Cookie’s ATK SPD.”
Combination of +ATK dmg and +ATK speed
x3 Searing Raspberry + x2 Bouncy Caramel equip bonus: +3% ATK. +1% ATK SPD
This build is very similar to the build above, the difference being that you will sacrifice some damage for more attack speed, this build is situational and experimental, sometimes it will prove to be more useful than both of the builds from above and sometimes it will lack either of two stats.
Game Lore/Description
“Muscle Cookie’s recipe requires large quantities of protein powder and about three weeks of intensive kneading. Only after that, the taste of raw muscle power comes to life. Such a rigorous cooking process has made Muscle Cookie a bit short-tempered. He tends to throw exercise equipment when angry. But don’t be afraid: once he’s done dealing with Cake Monsters, he’s as cool as a cucumber.”
Soulstone Description
“The stone holds a piece of Muscle Cookie’s soul. You can use this heavy stone in your weight training.” Muscle Cookie’s Soulstones can be acquired in World Exploration Dark Mode Stages 4-3 and 7-4.
Muscle Cookie’s Skill
Muscle King Power– Description: “Throws a dumbbell with fearsome strength at the nearby enemies, causing Shock within the radius when throwing and when the dumbbell falls.”
Active: Dashes forward and deals area damage to all enemies in his way.
Cooldown: 10 seconds base Cooldown
Damage dealt: 81.0% base damage (+1.1% DMG per level)
This is a fairly decent skill but to be honest it falls short in comparison with GingerBrave’s “Brave Dash” for example. 81% base percentage damage plus 1.1% bonus damage per level is good but not as impressive as some other common cookies can do. Since he is a Charge type and his position is prioritized to front, which naturally makes him more durable, he can dish out decent damage and take a fair amount of it as well.
Given that he is a frontline cookie, with both damage and tank potential, there are multiple different ways to build him and all of them are more or less equally viable. With the right toppings for Muscle Cookie, his base stats and bonus damage will benefit him even more, and it will make him even better.
