Mumakils in LOTR Rise To War is one of the strongest beast units that you can hire.
Mumakil has an insane amount of stats and each command contains only one Mumakil. One of the unique features of Mumakil is that they will do AOE damage to enemy and allied units so it is recommended to combine them with units that have fewer troops in command otherwise you will do damage to allied troops.
To hire Mumakils you will have to occupy the tile where they are located. It is 640 LVL tiles and it will be hard to do it if you do not have a strong commander and units. There is a limited number on how many Mumakils camps are on the map so try to occupy it as soon as you can. Work on your commanders, increase their level, increase commander respect.

How to counter Mumakil
There are a lot of different troops in LOTR Rise To War and it can be hard to choose what to send against Mumakil. One of the best units that you can send are units that will deal burn, poison damage simply because Mumakil has an insane amount of defense stats. Burn and poison will bypass Mumakil’s insane defense stats.
If you send troops that only do normal damage you will get destroyed.
One of the best troops that you send are alchemist and corsair, they will deal a lot of burn damage. You can also send fell beasts that are doing poison damage. They will not deal damage like alchemists and corsairs but still, they are a good choice because they have a lot of armor and defense so they will be able to survive more.

Well, it is hard to get all the exact locations of mumakil camps in LOTR Rise To War but there is an option to search close one. Simply exit from your city and press on the search option next to the map. Then click on the icon of camp and you should be able to choose mumakil and search for nearby mumakil camps.
